Dr. Piccirillo is the founder and owner of Regen Ocala and oversees the operations and clinical staff.
Dr. Piccirillo received his initial medical training is orthopedic surgery, and was lucky to be a pioneer in the use of PRP. He became interested in regenerative medicine the first time a centrifuge rolled into his operating room in 2002. He immediately saw the power of platelet-rich plasma, and the regenerative potential. His love for the regenerative side of medicine began to grow over the next 5 years, as he researched the science behind platelet-rich plasma (PRP). He was able to incorporate regenerative procedures into his practice in 2007 and opened a regenerative only practice in 2009. Since 2009 he has continued to study the regenerative nature of PRP, which he now uses in the musculoskeletal system, as well as for sexual health and aesthetics. His area of expertise is all aspects of regenerative orthopedics but has studied extensively over the last 5 years in the areas of aesthetics, sexual health, and Anti-Aging. He has taught the science and clinical use of PRP to physicians all over the world. He has developed his own trademarked method to prepare PRP and owns the trademark on Perfect PRP® and has authored a book with the same title.
His daily duties are supporting the clinical staff at the Regen USA offices and consulting with physicians all over the world. He is always developing new procedures and working on his next book.
Dr. Piccirillo is passionate to support his staff to follow our mission to “ Make YOU the best YOU!”
